West News Wire: After over 12 years of marriage, Reese Witherspoon and her husband have announced that they are splitting.
The actor-producer and her husband, Hollywood agent Jim Toth, shared a joint message on Instagram on Friday informing followers of their separation. Sunday marks their wedding anniversary.
The message stated, “It is with considerable thought and consideration that we have made the tough decision to divorce. We’ve had a lot of amazing years together, and we’re moving forward with a lot of love, compassion, and respect for what we’ve accomplished together.
Requesting discretion, Witherspoon and Toth stated that their one boy together is still their top priority.
An agent for Witherspoon attested to the veracity of the claim. In Los Angeles, no records of a divorce filing could be located.
Witherspoon was previously married to actor Ryan Phillippe, with whom she has two children.
