West News Wire: More than 3,141 Palestinian school children, along with 130 teachers and administrators, have been killed because of Israeli assaults on the constrained Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank since October 7, according to the most recent numbers.
The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) claimed in a statement on Tuesday that 24 children were killed in the West Bank and 3,117 students were killed in the Gaza enclave between October 7 and November 11.
During this time, 4,863 more people have been killed; 250 of them are in the West Bank and 4,613 in Gaza. The Israeli incursions on the besieged strip resulted in up to 403 injuries to educators and administrators, while over 40 were taken into custody in the West Bank.
Additionally, throughout that time, 67 students all from the West Bank have been detained by Israeli occupation troops.
According to the PCBS investigation, Israeli airplanes deliberately hit 239 government schools in the blockaded strip with airstrikes, severely destroying 45 of the schools while attacking 50 United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA) schools.
The Israeli army has assaulted 27 government schools in the occupied West Bank.
In the meantime, violent Israeli attacks on the coastal enclave have resulted in the displacement of over 700,000 children in Gaza, according to UNICEF’s report.
For 39 days in a row, Palestinians in Gaza have been subjected to an endless cycle of violence. Dozens more civilians have died because of recent attacks by Israel.
In the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, an attack on a home claimed the lives of at least six Palestinian family members. Thirty more people were killed in that location by another airstrike.
The current Israeli bombing on Khan Yunis, in the south, claimed ten lives.
That’s because the Israeli government has ordered civilians in the northern portion of the beleaguered region to relocate to the southern Gaza Strip, which it has dubbed a Safe Zone.
Israel ordered inhabitants in northern Gaza to evacuate to what it refers to as the southern “safe zone,” but it also escalated its attacks on the southern part of Gaza.
11,250 Palestinians have killed, all because of the Israeli war, most of them were women and children. Hospitals, aside from residential structures, are unsafe from Israeli strikes too.
Israeli hostility against Palestinians has increased throughout the occupied West Bank. Seven Palestinians have been killed by regime forces in predawn assaults on Tulkarm and a nearby refugee camp.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the victims died because of drone attacks by the government and fighting with Israeli forces. Twelve additional people were hurt, several of whom were critically ill. Near Beit Ainun Junction, another guy was fatally shot by troopers of the Regime.
Clashes have also reportedly occurred in the town of Qalqilia. Israel’s brutal attacks on the West Bank have gotten more intense.
Since October 7th, Israel’s settlers and troops have killed close to 190 Palestinians throughout the occupied territories.
Digging a mass grave for patients who passed away as a result of Israel encircling hospitals in the beleaguered Palestinian enclave, Palestinians imprisoned inside Gaza’s largest hospital are burying their dead.
Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, which is home to 650 patients and 5,000–7,000 more displaced residents who are stranded within its premises, was once again surrounded by Israeli forces on Tuesday.
For the past few weeks, Israeli drones and snipers have been firing continuously at the location.
At least forty patients have passed away in the last few days, including three premature babies whose incubators were turned off when the power went out.
A spokesman for Gaza’s health ministry, Ashraf Al-Qidra, claimed that there was no way to remove the roughly 100 bodies that were rotting within.
