West News Wire: Because the heating pads behind both side-view mirrors may not be properly bonded, the glass in the mirrors could fall out and increase the risk of a collision, which is why Honda is recalling more than 330,000 cars.

The 2020-2022 Odyssey, 2020-2022 Passport, 2020-2021 Pilot, and 2020-2021 Ridgeline are among the cars being recalled.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the vehicles don’t meet the required standards for rear visibility.

Honda dealers will free of charge replace the side-view mirrors on affected cars.

On May 8, notes informing owners are anticipated to be delivered. Owners of vehicles can get in touch with Honda customer support at 1-888-234-2138 or the NHTSA’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
