West News Wire: Not only is artificial intelligence advancing technology, but also society. According to one organization that has hired two AI interns, AI may soon displace humans in some occupations.

In an interview with ABC News’ daily podcast “Start Here,” co-founder of the digital marketing firm Codeword Kyle Monson discussed the creation of AI interns Aiden and Aiko who will help with editorial and engineering. Their invention coincides with the sensational artificial intelligence-driven application ChatGPT, which has gained notoriety for responding to user prompts and attempting to mimic human contact by using Shakespeare and poetry.

Monson discussed the prospect for wiping out human intelligence and the repercussions of these digital workers that mimic humans.
