West News Wire: Nine passengers who were on board a capsized boat off the coast of Florida are being sought after by the U.S. Coast Guard.
The Coast Guard’s Southeast branch tweeted on Monday morning that a passerby who saved a survivor near Lake Worth, Florida, who later revealed that he and nine other people had departed from Cuba on December 10 had informed them of the incident.
The ship reportedly capsized early on Sunday, and the survivor was rescued from the Atlantic Ocean at 3:30 p.m.
There was no instant access to any details on the search and rescue operation.
